The words you say to your spouse matter, but the tone you say them in matters just as much if not more.

9 times out of 10 the “fights” Spencer and I have are because of the way one of us said something. After talking it out we realized if we had just said that differently the whole thing could have been avoided. Respect one another and don’t hurt your spouse’s feelings. If I can’t calm down to where I can be nice I’ll usually tell my husband I need a minute. I get myself together so I can speak without anger and not say things I don’t mean. I’m so guilty of having a TONE or rolling my eyes. Y’all pray for me seriously this is an area I do a lot of work in.
